Activities and Recreation Committee: ARC

Activities and Recreation Committee (ARC) is a committee centered on entertaining Arrowman of all ages. Each guest at Indian Summer 2011 will be a part of a nation, tribe, and clan. Clans will meet each day and will have a daily program addressing upcoming events, schedule changes and answering any questions you may have. Wednesday night there will be a Gathering of Nations. Arrowman will represent their nation at a massive festival with competitions, ice cream, music, and fellowship. Everyone is invited!

Lambdin Conference Area is home to the "Brave Cave," an air-conditioned hang out for patch trading, playing ping pong, playing XBox games, and listening to music. These activities are available for guests after lunch during the week. Each day there is also a general recreation activities including volleyball, dodgeball, basketball, and even an open gym.

On Tuesday and Thursday there will be a conservation project to work on the 1.4 mile, rugged Rhododendron trail here at Ridgecrest. All Arrowmen who want to take part in the project will head out from the conference and be driven up to the site. Breakout box for article: Transportation to and from the Conservation Project will be provided by the conference and will be departing from Pritchell Hall on Tuesday and Thursday at 1pm. No personal vehicles will be allowed at the project site.
