The Extreme High Adventure staff at NOAC 2000 offered conference participants the opportunity to try kayaking in the outdoor pool on the campus of the University of Tennesee.

After some quick lessons on how to paddle a kayak, the participants were able to give the highly maneuverable boats a quick try in the pool. |
| For those who had problems, the staff also gave quick lessons on what to do if you tip over in a kayak. |

This activity was designed to give participants a chance to try something new, and have some great memories of NOAC.
