During Founder's Day, 50 trainers from numerous lodges across the nation gave 15-minute demonstrations on what their lodges do best.
The topics presented by the lodges vary from “Lodge and the Order at Summer Camp” presented by Kittany Lodge #5, to “Internet Connection Computer Setup” demonstrated by Tatokainyanka Lodge #356. |
Other presentations covered topics such as ceremonies, brotherhood conversion, chapter recognition, ordeal management, service, communications, training, troop/team representative and running meetings. Lodges distributed manuals and other handouts which were used in their lodges and many plan to make this information available on their web site or by contacting the lodge.
Arrowmen visited one lodge table and listened to the presentation, after which they moved on to another table whose topic interested them. Approximately 25 of the presentations were lead by Arrowmen who have just completed the Train the Trainer program.
Best of the Best was designed to allow lodges to learn what other lodges do best and make changes to improve their lodge.
