Wednesday at NOAC, Arrowmen from the American Indian Activities Committee led the American Indian Workshops, which consisted of three projects: choker building, lazy stitch and finger weaving. |
Participants had the opportunity to sit down and build one or all three of the projects. The workshops were very popular with the Arrowmen. The AIA committee expects the return of these workshops in 2002. There were also exhibits of other American Indian arts and crafts.
One Arrowmen, Will H. from Kansas, said the projects took "about 15 minutes or more but were well worth the wait. The workshops were pretty cool."
