Northeast Region Chief Scott Schmidt is an avid Scouter and Arrowman. Schmidt is a Vigil Honor member of Ho-De-No-Sau-Nee Lodge #159 in the Greater Niagara Frontier Council. He also has attained the rank of Eagle Scout and received the Founders Award.

Schmidt has held numerous positions, including Chapter Chief, Ceremonial Team Captain, Chapter Elangomat Chairman, two-term Lodge Chief, Section Vice Chief and Section NE-5A Chief. He has participated in two OA Trail Crew Treks and a Northern Tier Voyage. Schmidt also has served at his local council camp for three years as an aquatics instructor.

Schmidt will attend Ithaca College this fall in upstate New York, where he will study advertising. When he is not busy with Scouting or school, he enjoys music, meeting new people, exercise, basketball, swimming and hiking.

Schmidt believes that with enthusiasm and a positive mental attitude, NOAC will be more than a success - it will be the experience of a lifetime for each and every Arrowmen.
