Let it Rain!

Soccer Competition With some of the hottest temperatures in recent memory making an appearance this summer, many people would just like to have some cool rain. NOAC 2002 participants got their wish Monday afternoon. The day began as usual, hot and muggy, but by 2:00 pm changed entirely when thunderstorms rolled in. Most Arrowmen at NOAC had to make some major changes in their plans for the day. Several lodges had planned on winning a soccer game, but ended up just playing in the rain.
The storms that happened Monday morning caused the cancellation of soccer and all other outdoor activities. These games will be rescheduled for later in the week. Many Arrowmen were disappointed to have their sports cut off early, but they were all thankful for the cool drink of water provided by the skies.

The forecast for Bloomington seems to suggest that our wet weather is over for the time being. However, NOAC can expect the heat to return. The expected high temperature for Tuesday is 90 degrees.
