Section Leadership Dinner

 Section Officers and Advisors were all invited today to join the National Officers for the Section Leadership Dinner. With over 200 people present, the dinner was a highlight for those in attendance. As well as getting a fabulous meal, everyone that attended also received some very nice gifts from National Chief Clay Capp and the National Officers, including a pen light and a striking postcard with the pictures of the National Chief and Vice-Chief. Clay led the section leaders in an invocation prior to the meal. The meal was absolutely tasty, one of the best available at NOAC!

Following the meal, the National Chairman of the Order of the Arrow gave a key note address on the section’s role in the new strategic plan unveiled at this conference. Mr. Haddock detailed the section leadership's role in ensuring the success of the new strategic plan. He said that what we do in the Order is a model of quality leadership and programming that enriches and helps to extend the reach of Scouting to all of America’s youth. Mr. Haddock remarked that the section leadership will be the key leaders to set the example, and work with all the lodges throughout the nation to help focus the Order on Leadership, Service, and Financial Support.
