Training Course Information

All individuals need to pre-register for their training online at the NOAC event registration web site.

Besides these Inductions and Ceremony Events training sessions, courses are also offered by the Training, High Adventure Expo and Training, American Indian Activities, and National Council of Chiefs committees.

Sealing the Bonds of Brotherhood This session will cover the Journey to Brotherhood program, the Extended Elangomat program, and the symbolism of the Brotherhood ceremony in an in-depth discussion on ways to inspire Arrowmen to seal their membership.

Coaching and Evaluating OA Ceremonies Learn about the current National OA standard for evaluating a ceremonies team, proper methods of coaching ceremonialists, and the recruitment and development of a lodge ceremonies team.
Advanced Arrowmen - Youth Ceremonialists who are older in age and Advisers who are responsible or interested in coaching and evaluating OA ceremonies.

The Complete Inductions Training (TCIT) This 3 day course will cover: The Spark: An introduction to inductions management. The Fuel: The ten induction principles (presented by the 2004 Region Chiefs). Inductions management before the Ordeal: Unit Elections, Call Out Ceremonies, and the Role of the OA Troop Representative. Inductions management from Ordeal through Brotherhood: Ordeal Administration, JumpStart/New Member Orientation, and Brotherhood Administration.
Advanced Arrowmen - Experienced inductions people - chairmen, lodge officers, inductions advisers - not recommended for people who are only interested in ceremonies.
