If you are an aspiring journalist or photographer, or you just want something to put in the paper about your time at NOAC, the Arrowman Press Corps, can give you the special access to NOAC that will help you share your experience with the folks back home. The Press Corps is open to any Arrowman, young or old, whether you are an experienced writer or hoping to pen your first story for your local newspaper or radio station.
The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is one of the most amazing experiences one can ever have, and one each of us will want to remember forever. How better to remember it than to write the stories that tell all those back home about the Conference? That is exactly what the Arrowman Press Corps (APC) does. It allows Arrowmen to be creative in relaying information about the largest Order of the Arrow event of the year.
For Arrowmen that enjoy writing, photography, serving your Brothers, and above all want to have a great time, then the Arrowman Press Corps is the place for you. We also have a variety of tools to help you write the best articles possible, and the resources to help you get the article edited and sent to your hometown news. The Corps gets special access to parts of NOAC that no normal Arrowman gets access too, like:
To participate in the APC you had to first secure your spot in your lodge's delegation to the national conference. Then you had to register for the Arrowmen Press Corps at the online NOAC event registration web site. After this you had to get approval from your lodge adviser and council executive, so becoming a member of the Corps was a multi step process that took real devotion from those involved.
