Adam Stone, an Eagle Scout and his grandfather, Mathew Stone were the two key characters in this year's NOAC show titled, "The ONE."

Before the close of every show at this year's NOAC we were given a brief peek into the relationship between Adam and his grandfather, a brilliant but eccentric scientist, inventor and mathematician. The grandfather's goal, before he died, was to complete his "universal equation."

The grandfather attempted to teach Adam lessons about the importance of the individual; that a single person could make a difference. His attempts were fruitless until the grandfather's death. Before he died, the grandfather laid an intricate plan, one that would help explain his "universal equation." His plan was not revealed until the night of the reading of the grandfather's will. It was that same night when Adam discovered that his grandfather did not go to his grave without completing his "universal equation." The equation did not require the application of some unique algorithm, but instead was incredibly simple: We all have the power to lead, the power to serve. And power is only powerful when it is given away. At last the universal equation was revealed as it was to us the night of our Ordeal in the admonition, Love One Another.

The show was professionally cast and staged and went off without a hitch. As is typical of NOAC shows, the message was compelling and relevant. Every Arrowman left with the understanding that THEY had the POWER; the power to serve, the power to lead - The POWER of ONE.
