Live from the Web Team

Welcome to Web Team central. This PC lab is where the magic happens. It is located in the Maple Willow Larch Commons on the second floor.  The Web team had been working separately from their homes since November 1997 and did not actually meet each other until they arrived in the lab just days before the conference began.  The team consists of 7 support staff and 5 part time helpers who will put in over 750 man hours during the week we are here.   There was also over 100 man hours of setup time in the ISU computer lab.   There have been over 40,000 hits to this site since we have been at NOAC.

The staff generally arrives at 9:00 am and leaves around 1:00 am (or later!) .  It is a challenge to get everything reported and available on the site.  The team is constantly gathering more information and pictures.  Since we arrived, we have taken over 600 pictures and created over 150 pages.  We have traveled across the campus many, many times and have have visited the main committee offices in the Memorial Union more times than we can count.

The staff consumes lots of snacks and soda pop. Most of it we find at the small convenience store located in the Maple Willow Larch Commons one floor away from the computer lab we use.  Here is a picture of some of the helpful staff that has been serving us throughout the week.
