Chief & Vice Chief message

With the start of NEXT mere hours away, we cannot be more excited to see all of you arrive on campus! You are all walking into an experience that you will never forget. Over these last few days, the staff have spent every waking moment placing the final touches on NEXT to ensure the best program possible is in full swing the second you step on to campus. Here are a few tips that we have collected to help you on your journey these next few days:

• Keep an open and innovative mindset as you tackle your lodge’s weaknesses and learn about how other lodges address similar issues. Think outside the box!
• Connect as a crew as soon as you arrive. After this event, you will all share a bond that no other crew does as you each have a unique and life changing experience this week.
• Spend time listening to the presentations and discussions and to each other. You may hear something that makes you consider a situation in a new light.
• Soak in as much as you can these next few days. You were sent here as the change agents of your lodge and section. By the end of NEXT, you will be equipped to create the change you wish to see in our Order.
