Fellowship Festival Preview
As we get ready for Program Day tomorrow, keep a lookout for the afternoon’s premier program activity: the Fellowship Festival! After a morning and early afternoon of exciting modules about new ways to view program in your lodge, we’ll be heading over to the Harry Gladstein Fieldhouse for games, activities and hands-on interactions that provide ways to apply and develop the skills and ideas we’ve discussed throughout the day.
As you enter the Festival, you will be greeted by the NEXT-wide service project. We are excited to partner with the Crimson Cupboard, an on-campus food pantry dedicated to providing food and toiletries to campus students, as we give back to the local community. Our service project with the Crimson Cupboard will feature a food drive to help them restock their shelves as they prepare for the upcoming fall semester. If you brought food donations, be sure to drop them off at this booth. If you did not bring food items, you can donate cash contributions in direct support of purchasing food items.
The Festival will also feature booths about OA High Adventure, national communications, Operation Arrow and opportunities for you to explore ways to partner with government agencies for lodge service projects. We have experts in inductions, service projects and communications, all ready to answer any of your questions. We hope you utilize this opportunity to learn more about OA programs and improve the Order together in the NEXT century.
