Inductions and Ceremonial Events

PreviousNext

Inductions and Ceremonial Events (ICE) is offering activities throughout the conference. From training to individual coaching and evaluations to competitions ICE has something for you! Do you think your ceremony team is one of the best in the nation? Then ceremonies competitions may be for you!

Are you looking for a way to improve ceremonies in your lodge? Join us for ceremony evaluations! The goal of ceremony evaluations is to improve ceremonial performances and to maximize the quality of the induction experience for the candidate.

Ceremony Evaluations

The goal of 2015 National Order of the Arrow Conference ceremony evaluations is to improve ceremonial performances and to maximize the quality of the induction experience for the candidate. Since the purpose of these evaluations is purely educational, there is no need for teams to be highly experienced to participate. Inexperienced teams should be able to improve significantly from participating in the evaluations. More experienced teams will benefit as well by observing some of the best teams in the country and receiving suggestions from the highly qualified evaluations staff. Evaluations will be done for Pre-Ordeal, Brotherhood and Vigil ceremony teams.

Please note that ceremony evaluations are separate from the competition portion. A team does not have to enter the competition in order to participate in the evaluations. For rules and regulations for competitions, please refer to the competition guidelines.

Evaluations and Competitions

The Inductions and Ceremonial Events committee at NOAC will be providing opportunities for individual and lodges to participate in ceremony evaluations and competitions. View the guidelines listed below.
