Activities and Recreation

PreviousNext

Activities and recreational events will play a central role at this year’s national conference! The premier event will be the Spartan Race, a physically and mentally challenging course which will push you to the max – while leaving you excited to run it again. All delegates are required to have a signed waiver to run the course.  If you don’t have a signed waiver on site, this link can be filled out by your parent or guardian.

All delegates are encouraged to make the most of NOAC by attending many activities. Some of the unique events include Black Hawk helicopter landings, NOAC 500 race, the Goodman Open golf tournament, a lip sync battle, and a talent show called “NOAC’s Got Talent!” Every Arrowman loves patch trading, so be sure to stop by the fieldhouse to add to your collection. In addition, we encourage you to take some time to play games such as bowling, bocce ball, KanJam, cornhole, giant Jenga, Kubb, ladder ball, ping pong, Spikeball, and the ever-popular gaga ball. Most activities will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, but we encourage you to check the NOAC app for locations, times, and the most up-to-date information.

As for competitions, lodges and teams will be competing in sports such as bowling, flag football, basketball, ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, swimming, and track in order to settle the age-old question of “which lodge is the best?” Be sure not to miss Mascot Mayhem, which will feature lodge mascots from across the nation competing. It’s not too late to sign up for some of these competitions; if you are interested in participating, be sure to visit the Activities and Recreation office in the Indiana Memorial Union building. We encourage you to check the NOAC app often for more information on locations and times for the various activities each day.
