The National OA Endowment

PreviousNext

The National Order of the Arrow Endowment was formed more than 30 years ago as means for the Order to fund scholarships and special programs. From its humble beginnings, the endowment has grown into the primary funding source for all OA High Adventure programs, the Josh R. Sain Memorial Scholarships, National Scout Jamboree OA programming like the Mysterium Compass, and National Service Grants which support lodges in their effort to better serve their local councils.

In the early years, the endowment was funded through the sale of credit card style Vigil Honor membership cards at NOAC, but its offering has grown to today. At NOAC 2018, the Legacy Center is located in the Indiana Memorial Union Solarium as part of the NOAC Trading Post. Funds received from the Legacy Center go directly to the National OA Endowment. If you are a  James E. West Fellow attending NOAC, there is even a special gift waiting for you at the Legacy Center!
