The Theme: How Will It Impact You?

Can our conference theme, Decide Your Destiny, only be words embroidered on a patch, or can it become something more? Will it influence how you think and act not only here at NOAC, but more importantly, in your life back home? We want this conference theme to be more than just a catchy slogan; so we’re hoping you join us on a journey inwards and spend a little time thinking about how the decisions you make today can affect your destiny tomorrow.

Each morning on the NOAC app, in the Navigator email newsletter, and on @oanoac social media, you’ll get a Daily Quote from various authors, inspirational speakers, world leaders, and philosophers. These quotes give you something to think about as you eat breakfast and get ready for the day ahead.

Just before lunch, you’ll receive our Daily Question. Answer them on your own, then grab a couple of friends at lunch – or make some new friends – and discuss your answers together. These questions can help you think about the daily quote and how it relates to your own life. For an even broader conversation with other conference attendees, reply to the posts on social media.

At the end of the evening program every night, you’ll receive the Daily Reflection. These videos will give more insight into the conference theme, tying the day together and leaving some wisdom with you before your night’s rest.
