Do you know a youth or adult Arrowmen who is a skilled presenter? Do you know an Arrowman who has an experience or best-practice to share, that others can learn from? If so, invite them to become a trainer at NOAC!
The training committee for NOAC is looking for both youth and adults to help out and become trainers at this year’s conference. This is a fantastic opportunity to give service to your fellow Arrowmen across the country and serve as staff at the premier event of our Order. Anyone can apply to become a trainer, but it is especially recommended for more experienced Arrowmen who have already attended a NOAC.
Training will range from sustainability to conducting a chapter meeting and everything in between! There are many different opportunities to help out and a wide variety of skill sets that are needed.
Are you interested in serving as a trainer, but you are already signed up with your lodge delegation? Don’t worry, as this is one of the reasons why becoming a trainer is so great, as there are two ways that Arrowmen can be a trainer at NOAC. The first option of serving as a trainer is you can sign up for the full NOAC staff experience and serve as a trainer in various fields throughout the conference. The second option to become a trainer is attending a lodge delegation where a delegate can serve as a trainer for part of the conference while also enjoying the experience of being a part of your lodge delegation for NOAC 2020! Whichever option an Arrowmen chooses, they will have the amazing experience of getting to serve as a trainer at NOAC!
If you know an Arrowmen who is at all interested in this unique opportunity, please have them apply here and fill out the questionnaire. Any youth that is interested in serving as a trainer should contact noactraining@oa-bsa.org.
