Arrowmen got NOAC started off on the right foot, literally! At the NOAC Brotherhood 5K Tuesday morning, Pacesetters kicked off in full swing at NOAC with their first major event, a race from Sewall Field down to the Center for Community and back. Linna B. from Lo La’Qam Geela Lodge, Crater Lake Council, finished first in the youth female category, and Zachary T. from Totanhan Nakaha Lodge, Northern Star Council, finished first in the youth male category. From those that finished at the head of the pack, to those whose goal was just to cross the finish line, congratulations to all that participated!
While runners raced to the finish line against other Arrowmen to become the NOAC 5K champion and run through the scenic CU Boulder campus, the Pacesetters Committee was also getting ready for a plethora of other events at NOAC designed to get Arrowmen active and moving while they’re here.
For any level of physical activity, there’s an activity that will help you stay active. If you want to serve in a game of volleyball, show off your cooking skills in the Iron Chef challenge, or catch an interception in flag football, Pacesetters enables you to do so as a part of your NOAC experience! You can also get a demo on meditation to find some quiet among the conference, or work on your flexibility through yoga.
The Pacesetters Committee is excited to welcome everybody to their programs, and encourages you to be physically strong during your time at NOAC. Don’t miss the amazing activities run through Pacesetters throughout the week!
