Day one of NOAC 2024 is in the books and it was an exciting day! Arrowmen from across the country are gathered at CU Boulder for a week of exciting programs, world class training, and fellowship.
As lodges got checked in, the excitement was in the air. Bobby Trommer, youth contingent leader for Ajapeu Lodge, Washington Crossing Council, was particularly excited about open patch trading, which will be happening at the University Memorial Center. “I think it’s a great way to meet people,” Trommer said. He also said that he was really excited for the Vigil Trainings and was enthusiastic about participating in the patch design training that will occur.
Jill Harvey, who traveled from Takhone Lodge, Pathway to Adventure Council, had her own programs she’s looking forward to. “I’m very excited for ceremonies evaluations,” Harvey noted, “and to connect with Arrowmen from all over the section at our section gathering.”
Hope Evanko, Ajapeu Lodge Chief, was also excited about the section gatherings. “It’ll be nice to see people after a month since Conclave,” Evanko remarked. The section gatherings will be taking place on Thursday night, after the Boulder Bash. She is also excited for the training sessions, the National Council of Chiefs, and her lodge’s participation in the Exemplar program for ceremonies. Training locations can be found in the NOAC App.
Whether it’s your first NOAC or your 10th, there’s a ton to look forward to as you start your journey to new heights at NOAC 2024. We can’t wait to see where that journey takes you!
