The NOAC Communications Staff will be holding a pre-conference Webinar to train
Arrowmen Press Corps members on how to use social networks and lodge
communication resources to relay what's going on at NOAC back to their home
lodges. The Webinar will also provide strategies on how to establish
relationships with local media prior to coming to NOAC to increase publicity
of lodge activities. Arrowmen who are interested in serving on the Press
Corps should also attend to learn about this opportunity at NOAC.
Preregistration is required.
Webinars will be held on:
Are you a journalist at heart? Are you a lodge secretary? Are you
interested in photojournalism? The Arrowmen Press Corps (APC) lets
Arrowmen bring their experiences back to their OA brothers, their
families, and their communities. Each APC member will be able to blog,
share photos, videos, and stories about their everyday experiences at
NOAC. Additionally, Arrowmen will receive support from the NOAC
Communications Staff in sending articles and photos back to their local
newspaper or lodge newsletter. Arrowmen Press Corps members will receive
priority seating at the shows so they can capture the behind-the-scenes
scoop and snap that elusive picture that tells the NOAC story. Each lodge
contingent is encouraged to have at least one representative from their
contingent to be a part of the APC, but lodges can have as many as three
members. To register, talk to your contingent leader to sign you up for
this great experience. Contingent leaders will look for APC registration
under group activity. Only the contingent leader can sign you up for APC.
